200 Impressions in 60 Minutes

200 Impressions in 60 Minutes is a brand new show created by David Carl, whose work has been described by The New York Times as “deliciously deranged” (Gary Busey’s One-Man Hamlet (As Performed by David Carl)) and “quite damning” (Trump Lear). His newest impression bonanza will include 200 impressions in 60 minutes, music, and a healthy dose of audience participation.
David has performed his solo impression shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and across the country from Chicago Shakespeare Theater to Laugh Boston (where he collaborated on Trump Takes on Boston). At New York Fringe his Busey Hamlet received an award for “Overall Excellence in Solo Performance” and an extended run: Trump Lear had a sold out run at Edinburgh Fringe in 2018:
Other original works include 100 Impressions in 30 Minutes (it’s all making sense now isn’t it), David and Katie Get Re-Married (co-written with Katie Hartman), and Road to the White House. You’ve probably heard his voice on radio, TV, film, the internet, or a video game. You also might have seen him playing Gary Busey in Point Break LIVE! In New York or on tour. TV Credits include: Mr. Robot (USA), Blue Bloods (CBS), The Enemy Within (NBC), Divorce (HBO), Guiding Light (CBS), and All My Children (CBS). Check out more at
