This interactive, improvised musical parody will have your kids hollering in their seats AND onstage. Our energetic cast delivers a friendly and engaging experience, so each audience gets their own unique personalized show. Lauren Chapman - Lauren loves a good musical and thus is thrilled to be a part of Frannie! She is a cast member of Boston's Unscripted Musical Project (BUMP) and KERPLUNK! both produced by Catalyst Comedy. At ImprovBoston, she is a resident cast member of Harold Night and has been seen in a variety of other shows including; T: An MBTA Musical, The Family Show, All Access Improv, MIC: Musical Improv Cast, Murder Night: Don't fear the Repurge, Gorefest the 13th, and The Gruesome Tale of Penny Dreadful among many others. When not doing improv, Lauren is also an actor for screen and stage. In fact, for nearly two years now Lauren has been playing Matt Damon in LL Production Company's "Matt & Ben." Joey Lopez - Joey would like to thank his babe of a wife, Siobhan, for putting up with his Lego addiction, feeding him, and her constant support of his comedy pipe dreams. Joey is one sixteenth Mexican… Ripley's Believe It or Not!Ceara O'Sullivan - Ceara is stoked to be doing another production with Improv Asylum. Woohoo! Currently, Ceara also performs with the NXT cast at the Asylum on Sunday nights and the does the Best of IA show every Saturday. She recently played Hillary Clinton and Milania Trump (yes, in the same show) in IA's production of "Trump Takes on Boston" this past fall. When she isn't improvising, Ceara is usually eating barbecue chips or trolling the internet.Patrick Parhiala - Patrick is excited to be back onstage at Improv Asylum! He is a former member of IA's NXT and All the Single Ladies casts and is a performer at ImprovBoston in Cambridge. He began his comedy career at the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a member of Mission: Improvable, and is honored to continue the group’s comedy legacy in Boston. When he’s not performing, Patrick works with children and enjoys it most of the time.Kelly Vernon - Kelly is currently an undergraduate in the Visual and Media Arts department at Emerson College, and has been acting since she saw the music video for Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" at age 7. Kelly is proudly 1/10th of Emerson's sketch team Derbyn Comedy as well as a recent graduate of the Training Center at Improv Asylum. She feels so lucky to be working alongside and goofing around with such funny people!Misch Whitaker - Misch has studied and performed improv comedy for over ten years. Past credits include TheaterSports/FaceOff at ImprovBoston (2007-2008); NXT at Improv Asylum (2007-2008); Improv Asylum Mainstage (2008-2012) and ImprovBoston Mainstage (2013-2014). She is one half of the two person musical improv show Pat and Misch Break Up and a member of the international touring company Big Bang. Misch is currently the resident director at Catalyst Comedy where you can also find her on stage every other weekend making up music in shows such as Boston's Unscripted Musical Project (B.U.M.P.), KERPLUNK! and Dirty Disney.
Kristen Mazzocchi - (Director) is a freelance teaching artist, director and production manager. She works with many organizations and schools in the greater Boston area including; New England Conservatory of Music, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Needham Public Schools and Next Generation Theatre Company. Kristen was a founding member of the Improv Asylum back in 1998. She graduated from Boston College with a BA in Economics and Theater and holds a Master’s degree in Arts Education from Harvard University. She is thrilled to be back at Improv Asylum doing what she loves and working with this amazing group of actors!
