Can you customize a training?
We always work closely with clients before a training to make sure it will meet their identified needs. Throughout the session, we will continue to draw parallels to your group's specific focus – whether you are a sales group that wants to enhance your one-on-one communication with outside customers, or a product development team that is looking for new strategies for brainstorming better ideas. We can even facilitate a meeting to identify your issues or to crystallize group thinking (e.g. defining a group mission statement, or defining a brand). After your session, we can revisit the issues/skills again at a point in the future.
Can you do your training within the context of a larger meeting or in conjunction with other presenters?
Sure, we can play nice. We want to make a lasting impression on your group. Putting our exercises in context is necessary for that to happen. In the past, we have effectively linked our training with an extensive Emotional Intelligence assessment, a sales seminar and a "state of the company" address, among others. We will even talk with other presenters beforehand to make sure that we are delivering complementary messages.
Where can we have the training?
Leave the workplace behind and hold the training at our theater located in Boston's historic North End. The experience only gets better when accompanied by a traditional Italian dinner and a hilarious customized show. Our trainings and shows can also come to you at your office, conference, or retreat. We are seasoned travelers and have provided trainings and shows all over New England and the continental United States!
When can we do it?
We usually conduct our sessions during the workday but we will always work with you to identify the best mutual date and time. We book trainings based on date, trainer and space availability. The sooner you call us, the more you can be assured that we will be able to meet your needs.
How long is it?
Our standard training lasts 3 hours. However, because each training is customized, we have done results-oriented trainings for as little as 20 minutes and as long as 2 full days.
Who should attend?
We have done successful trainings for front-line staff, CEOs and everyone in between. We have worked with all kinds of groups including product development teams, sales staffs, marketing departments, engineers, lawyers, financial groups and teachers. We have also worked with cross functional groups bringing different teams together. We have even trained the US District Court! If you are looking for specific results, we find our training works best when all members of a team participate, especially the leaders and those in charge of implementation. Who are your trainers?
Our trainers are smart, hip and funny, really funny. They also know their way around the business world with extensive management and front-line experience in billion dollar corporations, non-profit organizations and even the military! Their unique mix of the corporate and the comedic guarantees that they can provide real-world examples of "how this stuff works" that make sense to your group. Not to mention that they practice what they preach - they use the skills taught in our workshops to create our critically acclaimed improvisational and sketch comedy show 5 nights a week!
Can there be a show as well?
Sure. In fact, we think a show enhances what participants take away from the training because they get to see our actors putting the skills from the training into practice. We can even tailor the show so that it's a one-of-a-kind send up of your company or organization. Adding a show makes a great all-in-one training and entertainment package for conferences and retreats!
