Where are they now?

Day 1: Heathrow
11AM Piccadilly Circus
2:00 Buckingham Palace
9:00pm The West End

Day 2: Started in Piccadilly Circus at 9 AM. Following up on a tip/meeting from the day before, went to The Big Tour Bus Co. Recruited their help. Met Mike the tour guide, who would call later with a lead to Richard Branson's Personal Assistant. Thanks, Mike, "good form" as they say.

11AM Cut out of the tour to follow a "hot tip" about Richard Branson's office. Took us an hour and a half to get to what should have been a 10 minute trip. Went to 120 Campden Hill Road. Turns out Virgin left those offices 8 months ago.

1:30pm Googled Virgin office -- came up with that same Campden Hill Road address, but we couldn't be fooled twice. Called the number that was listed, got the new address. Again, not to be fooled twice took a cab rather than another endless car ride to nowhere.

2:00 Arrived outside of Virgin office. Decided spirit of this was to be invited to meet, not some kind of raving mob descending on the office. Instead canvassed the area to see if their new neighbors new Richard Branson to set us up.

2:30 Norm arm-wrestled a Bulgarian street sweeper for information. Norm couldn't put him away. So we went jogging with an Italian businessman. Apparently Virgin's new office is surrounded by multicultural cornucopia, albeit a sweaty one.

3:00 Decided to get lunch at local pub in hopes Virgin employees and/or Sir Branson might have frequented there. Great place called The Albion. Go there when in London. www.downthealbion.com. Great guys.

5:00 Met owner of The Albion. He realized Branson owns a restaurant nearby called Kensington Roof Gardens. he thought you could only get in by being asked. So he agreed to call on our behalf as "famous Boston comedians". It worked. Made 7pm reservation and worked checking leads until then.

7pm As we were leaving The Albion, met Angus. He let us know that Branson might be at Royal Ascot horse race the next day. Put us in touch with Paula Davie, a great concierge who secured a hotel for us and tickets to Royal Ascot.

7:15 Now fashionably late for dinner at Kensington Roof Garden. Had a great meal (another plug, but honestly it was great). Joan Collins was there, so we sent over a bottle of wine. Joan seemed to like that. She's still got it. Also met nice couple from San Diego who sent us tequila shots when they left. Not sure if that was because they liked us or didn't like us.

9:30 Left restaurant and went back to The Albion. Got a few more leads to follow up on, although some of it was a little hazy (see tequila shots).

1am Back to hotel to crash.

Day 3: 9am Up and at 'em. Followed up on more information. Got the voicemail from Mike the tour guide and followed up on that.

Noon Headed to Moss Bros. to get tuxes, tails and tophat for Royal Ascot - required dress for those in the know.

2:50 Took train to Ascot for the races. No car, thank you.

4pm Arrived at race. Talked our way into getting a press pass. Can't reveal how...but it worked. Talked with all kinds of people, although couldn't seem to track Branson down.

6:00 Great lead sent to us for direct email access to Branson. All due to the six-degrees-of-separation aspect of this. Also got info on where Branson lives so we can check out the neighborhood tomorrow and see if we can meet any nice neighbors that know him - hopefully without any arm-wrestling, but we'll do what we have to.

9pm Back in London to finish the day and plan for the next day.

Day 4: 9am up and running. Late night last night - tough to do everything and edit/update as well. Followed up on emails, decided to follow tip out to area where Branson lives.

11am on the road. GPS finally decided to work! Sweetness

12:30 Arrive in Oxford. Relatively near where he lives and thought some folks might know him, given the business academia of the school, and a tip to a nearby pub

1:30 Saved by the Church - Catholic Church graciously let's us use bathroom, and say a short prayer to enlist help from above.

2pm Meet people in nearby graveyard. Apparently a hangout by day. Group spoon with Swedish/Columbian couple while getting info.

3pm Head to town Branson now lives in, following a tip from Boston and confirmation in Oxford.

3:30 get tip at local pub of another pub he frequents a fair amount. Head there.

4pm Pints at his local pub. Good people, understand why he'd hang out there.

530pm Head back to London since we have been invited to do a show. Find out on way back we've been booked to be on national Fox & Friends on Sunday back in Boston. Also had an email we created since directly to Branson...

730 heading to show...
