Want to become an Inmate? Think about applying for a job as an Improv Asylum Usher!

Improv Asylum is seeking part-time ushers (14-25 hours per week) to join its front of house staff.  The position requires evening and  weekend availability.  Ushers are an integral part of our theater operations helping guests enjoy the Improv Asylum experience.  They are required to have intimate knowledge about our company and the many different departments that make up Improv Asylum and act as a representative.  Ushers are also responsible for the safety and operations of our theater from cleaning and organization to directly interacting with a variety of guests for various reasons.  This is a job for friendly eager people who have a positive attitude and strong self-confidence and who are not afraid of physical work that involves getting your hands dirty. All ushers should be able to work independently while maintaining excellent inter-personal skills.  This is an evening only position that starts at 6pm and earlier on some weekend days. Hours are flexible after the initial training period and we offer excellent and fun benefits internally.

Must be prepared to work late nights. Often shifts on Fridays and Saturdays run later than the T runs, so an appropriate way to get home is essential. Training starts immediately upon hire.
