Improv Asylum mainstage actor Matt Catanzano and mainstage alumnus Richie Moriarty co-created the YouTube channel Simply Unemployable after the successful launch of their first web series, ETC: Employment Through Craigslist. In 2012 Simply Unemployable became a partner channel on Broadway Video’s YouTube network, Above Average. Broadway Video is the production company owned by Lorne Michaels that produces Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and Portlandia.

In the summer of 2012, Above Average greenlit a project that Matt and Richie pitched a comedic web series called Portrait STUdio. In the series Stu Finley and his business partner, Brad, photograph engaged couples, families, athletes, politicians, high school students, and famous bands. In each episode Stu and Brad work their hardest to capture the perfect photo for each of their clients.

Portrait STUdio launched on Above Average on Thursday, August 30th.
New episodes will be released every Thursday until October 4th.
