Box Office Staff
Come be a part of the Improv Asylum box office staff! Applicants should have an outgoing personality and strong customer service skills. Friday and Saturday availability are a must, and applicant should live locally as shifts run late into the night. Holiday availability is strongly preferred.

Improv Asylum is seeking part-time ushers (14-25 hours per week) to join its front of house staff. The position requires evening and full weekend availability. Ushers are an integral part of our theater operations helping guests enjoy the Improv Asylum experience. They are required to have intimate knowledge about our company and the many different departments that make up Improv Asylum and act as a representative. Ushers are also responsible for the safety and operations of our theater from cleaning and organization to directly interacting with a variety of guests for various reasons. This is a job for friendly eager people who have a positive attitude and strong self-confidence and who are not afraid of physical work that involves getting your hands dirty.
All ushers should be able to work independently while maintaining excellent inter-personal skills. This is an evening only position that starts at 6pm and earlier on some weekend days. Hours are flexible after the initial training period. All applicants must be local to the theater.

Improv Asylum has several ways for you to get involved in our company. Internships are important positions at Improv Asylum and we require reliable, honest and hard-working individuals. We offer spring, summer and fall internships for most of our positions. However, all of our internships are unpaid positions. Many of our past interns have gotten school credit for their positions and we would encourage you to do the same. We are more than willing to work with universities to meet your needs for course credit. You are also eligible for Asylum perks as well.
